Covid 19 Updates

Following the release of the Scottish Government’s ’Coronavirus: Tourism & Hospitality Sector Guidance’, which can be viewed here, and as more and more of the Visitor Attractions sector reopens each month, ASVA have accumulated various guidelines documents, from both national and international sources, to help Scottish attractions have easy access to the most relevant and up to date guidance. We hope you find these resources useful. A big thank you to each of the organisations listed below for producing the following guidelines documents. Although some guidelines have been created to cater for specific attraction types, the vast majority of the information contained within each document is relevant for any visitor attraction.

Along with the below guidelines, we would also like to highlight the ’We’re Good to Go’ scheme. Aiming to provide confidence for visitors, communities and tourism businesses alike, the ’We’re Good to Go’ consumer mark complements the guidance issued by the Scottish Government. To obtain the ‘We’re Good to Go’ Mark via the scheme, you must complete a self-assessment on the We’re Good to Go online platform, including a checklist confirming you’ve put the necessary processes in place and are adhering to official Government and sectoral guidance.

As we are a partner organisation, ASVA members will undergo a streamlined assessment process. To apply, please click here
