National Museum of Scotland

Scotland’s most popular attraction, the National Museum of Scotland is located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. With over 20,000 objects and hands-on displays bringing together the history of Scotland, the wonders of nature and diverse cultures, game-changing scientific breakthroughs and exquisite art, design and fashion from across the centuries, there’s plenty to discover. Object highlights include Dolly the sheep, the Lewis chess pieces, a 12 metre Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton cast, and Mary, Queen of Scots’ jewellery.
