The Museum display introduces the visitor to the mysteries of bagpiping, its history and origins, placing piping firmly in its cultural, social and military contexts. The National Piping Centre’s shop offers a high quality selection of piping essentials and accessories, sourced through the wide-ranging contacts and experience of the many leading pipers who are involved with the Centre and its activities. Situated next door to the National Piping Centre is the Pipers’ Tryst Hotel, (The Gathering Place of the Pipers’).
