Glamis Castle

Glamis Castle - immortalised in Shakespeare's Macbeth - this ancient castle originally a hunting lodge for the Kings of Scotland, has been the ancestral seat of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne since 1372. Its spiralling towers, breathtaking beauty, splendid interiors and its place in history provide great inspiration for the visitor. Our extensive grounds and formal gardens allow plenty of freedom for further exploration. Visit us and experience a thousand years of history.
