Loch Insh Outdoor Centre & Boathouse Restaurant

This popular Visitor Attraction is located at Kincraig, just 7 miles south of Aviemore, on scenic Loch Insh in the Cairngorms National Park, bordering the RSPB reserve. Wildlife Passenger Boat, Paddle-boarding, Windsurfing, Sailing, Canoeing, Dri Ski Slope Skiing, Archery, Salmon & Trout Fishing, Mountain Bikes. Hire/Instruction. Taster Sessions, Children's Classes. 3 Children's Adventure Play Areas including zip wires, log play equipment and much more. 3km Lochside/Forest Interpretation Trail taking in part of the RSPB Reserve, Lochside Restaurant with Open Balcony serving traditional Scottish Fayre of Home-Baking, Home-Made Soups, Fresh Salads, Bar Meals and Evening a la Carte. The children's menu runs all day and evening. The Quarterdeck Bar overlooks the dri ski slope and activities on the water whilst the large Bosuns Locker Gift Shop offers all kinds of novelties, cards, prints, jewellery, children's educational toys, leather and glass ware. Ensuite rooms available at Insh Hall B&B along with 12 self-catered log chalets nestled into the the 14-acres wooded site. Free use of all watersports hire 8.30-10am and 4-5.30pm is given to guests staying 2 or more nights. December-April there are downhill and snowboarding packages on Cairngorm just 16 miles away. Free use of the dry ski slope is offered (set times) and 25% discount on ski hire for guests staying 2 or more nights. Watersports April- End October. Winter Skiing December - April. Restaurant open year-round (Evening bookings essential)

ASVA Card Restrictions:
ASVA members are entitled to free use of watersports equipment from 8.30-10am and 4-5.30pm and a 25% discount on ski hire. A 10% discount on food in our Boathouse restaurant is also available upon production of an ASVA pass (excluding alcohol and homebakes)
