Visitor Operations Positions - Central Region

Thank you for your interest in an HES Visitor Operations position.

Opportunities are available at a variety of sites across Central Region, which includes a diverse range of attractions from Western Europe’s oldest Christian Religious Centre Iona Abbey, to island site Inchcolm Abbey.

Each sites individual visitor numbers, location and offering will shape the day to day activities of Visitor Operations staff but dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high standards of site presentation are essential.

The following opportunities are available:


Dunstaffnage Castle & Bonawe Iron Furnace: Steward – 37 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018

Inchcolm Abbey: - Steward - 37 hours per week - Easter until 31 October 2018

Inchcolm Abbey : 2 x Stewards - 37 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018 / 32 hours per week 1 to 31 October 2018

Inchcolm Abbey: 2 x Stewards - 16.8 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018 / 14.8 hours per week 1 to 31 October 2018

Iona Abbey: 3 x Stewards - 37 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018

Roving Steward Central Region: Roving Steward - 37 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018

St Andrews Castle: Steward - 28 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018

St Andrews Castle: Steward - 28 hours per week - 1 June until 31 August 2018

Stanley Mills: Steward – 37 hours per week - Easter until 30 September 2018, 30 hours per week - 1 to 31 October 2018
