Visitor Experience Assistant (Museum of Flight)

£18,334 pro rata per annum (fixed point) plus membership of Civil Service pension scheme

Working front of house you will meet and greet visitors and assist them so that they have a great visitor experience. You will also be selling tickets and retail goods.

Previous experience of delivering high quality service to others is essential but just as important to us is your confident and visitor focused disposition. You will be moving around the museum a lot, working outside at times and in areas exposed to the elements.

There are 3 posts available, part time (15 hours & 25 hours) and full time (35 hours) hours available from April to October. Please clearly specify on your application within the supporting statement your preference of hours.

Prospective candidates are asked to note that this post is based at our National Museum of Flight site at East Fortune, East Lothian.

You will be working on a rota that will include weekends. This post is seasonal and permanent, and whilst the focus is on summer hours, there may be the opportunity for winter hours but this is not guaranteed.
