Kitchen Porter

Application Deadline: Wednesday 27th March 2019
PITLOCHRY FESTIVAL THEATRE – KITCHEN PORTER

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Scotland’s renowned ‘Theatre in the Hills’. At Pitlochry Festival Theatre, we are searching for a Kitchen Porter to assist in our busy catering operation.

Attracting over 100,000 people each year, Pitlochry Festival Theatre (PFT) is a unique, theatrical phenomenon in the heart of Perthshire.

PFT is famous for large scale productions, delivered to international standards, with multitudes of sumptuous costumes and exquisitely detailed sets that quite often get their own round of applause!

Our location plays its own starring role in the PFT experience. We sit right on the bank of the Tummel; the views of the river and the ‘Speckled Mountain’, Ben-y-Vrackie, are spectacular. Our food too plays a starring role and our catering department do a wonderful job to ensure that there are no rumbling tummies in our audience during the performance!

OVERALL ROLE

The Kitchen Porter is expected to make a positive contribution to the development and success of the organisation as a whole by ensuring high quality customer service to customers, staff members and visiting companies whilst following the Health and Safety guidelines
