Group & Corporate Ticketing Coordinator

Are you a self-motivated and target driven sales professional with experience in hospitality or tourism? Could you promote RZSS Edinburgh Zoo? We are seeking an exceptional Group & Corporate Ticketing Coordinator to maximise sales and revenue for Scotland’s wildest visitor attraction.

RZSS, one of Scotland’s leading education and conservation charities, is dedicated to protecting endangered species through conservation, research and education. As Group & Corporate Ticketing Coordinator you’ll be working for a fantastic brand, so it won’t be too hard to sell group and corporate tickets for RZSS Edinburgh Zoo. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Ticketing and Sales
Issuing corporate tickets, purchased by external companies and manage all group ticket enquiries
Overseeing the operation of established external ticketing agents e.g. Get your guide,, Eventbrite and assist with the ticketing requirements for our Events (e.g. Giant Lanterns of China, Zoo Nights)
Taking inbound and web-based sales enquiries and converting them into ticket sales and recording these accurately in our booking systems and CRM
Preparing monthly reports and agreeing sales targets, as well as meeting them

Customer Service and Relationship Building
As well as maximising ticketing sales, you should be a natural at networking and relationship building, e.g. establish and maintain contacts with reseller opportunities such as tour agents and hotels
Work alongside internal colleagues such as the Admissions team and Development and Fundraising team to develop key relationships
Providing first class customer care and service, e.g. dealing with customer queries

This role is offered on a full time permanent (37.5 hours per week) and may include occasional weekend and evening working.

About You
If you think you have what it takes and can demonstrate you meet the below criteria in your application, then we would love to hear from you:

· Good achievement in standard grades (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
· Experienced in using electronic booking systems and till systems and therefore able to demonstrate accurate numerical reasoning skills and attention to detail.
. You have a fantastic sales technique and know how to engage customers empathetically to link or upsell our products to achieve your targets
. We are looking for ambitious individuals who can communicate with flair, and know how to provide first class customer care and service
· Good networking and relationship management skills, e.g. building and maintain productive relationships with wide range of internal and external clients
· Previous experience working in a ticketing or sales environment, ideally within a visitor attraction.
