Pitlochry Festival Theatre

Fundraising Associate

Application Deadline: Tuesday 15th October 2019
We would like to hire a Fundraising Associate. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre (PFT) has been providing a unique cultural experience for almost 70 years, appealing to national and international audiences and visitors. We are Scotland’s leading producer of musical theatre, a champion of ensemble practice and the country’s only rurally-located, major arts organisation. Our home is a glorious eleven-acre campus that encompasses Explorers – the Scottish Plant Hunters’ Garden. More than a place to come and see a show, we offer great theatre and art for all in an inspiring, creative atmosphere.

Vision 2021 is our bold and ambitious creative and capital development. As a major transformational project, it will focus on three areas of critical development: Placemaking, Accessibility and Engagement. These will help us to deliver a sustainable future for PFT.

Having secured £10 million support from Scottish Government, we are now preparing to launch a comprehensive fundraising campaign. To help us deliver this, we have created the new role of Fundraising Associate that will work alongside the leadership team to manage the fundraising campaign. We will also be working with More Partnership, a leading fundraising consultancy, to help define and deliver the fundraising campaign strategy.

This is a new, exciting and pivotal role in the organisation. A degree of coaching and mentoring support will be provided by More Partnership as part of the induction and on-boarding process.
