Head of Collection Information & Digital Assets

Application Deadline: Sunday 15th March 2020
HEAD OF COLLECTION INFORMATION AND DIGITAL ASSETS
FULL TIME, FIXED TERM (2 Years)
Salary £43,533 - £50,514 per annum

This is an exciting period of renewal for NGS, as we move forward with a recently developed strategic vision that puts our audience at the heart of what we do. We’re making it our mission to broaden the impact of the world-class work that we do, matching our rich collections, expertise and creativity to the needs and wants of our visitors. We’re finding new ways to connect with more people, and creating an innovative, inclusive organisation that can meet the challenges of our ever-evolving world.

This new role will establish and lead a new department within the Collection Care Division focussed around the management of collection digital assets – bringing together hitherto dispersed functions (photography, copyright, systems development). The role’s key responsibilities will include: developing and delivering the NGS programme of collection digitisation, the review and development of collection related systems, and ensure a capability to be more open in the future, should we choose/need to with our collection images.

For full details and applications please visit our website directly.

The closing date for completed applications is Sunday 15th March 2020.
