Seasonal Receptionist

MAIN PURPOSE: Ensuring excellent customer service throughout the guests booking enquiry and their stay. Achieving business sales targets as set by the manager. A smart appearance and personable manner are essential.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Greeting visitors and booking in guests, dealing with customer enquiries, and assisting the team in providing an excellent visitor experience, in accordance with our 4 Star rating.

2. Handling calls and emails, and making bookings using the computerised booking system.

3. Upselling of accommodation and onsite activities. Booking activities on the Gamma system.

4. Handling sales, stock and deliveries for the shop, and upkeep of the coffee machine.

5. Cash handling at the Shop and Reception tills, ensuring the security of cash at all times.

6. Working closely with accounts and administration personnel and complying with directives and requests as appropriate.

7. Maintaining accurate and up to date records at all times including database information.

8. Administration as required including help to maintain/photocopy stationery and leaflet stocks.

9. Assisting in the delivery of marketing and sales initiatives as directed.

10. Assist with maintaining the security and safety procedures for visitors and staff.

11. Uphold tidiness and cleanliness of the Reception equipment and areas, including the internet gallery and library.

12. Provide assistance to and support to all teams within the Caravan Park enterprise as required.

13. Comply with health & safety directives and organisational policy, including regular fire drills.

14. Comply with organisational policy for green tourism and recycling policies.

15. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required including after hours sessions – reasonable notice is given and staff are paid for their time.
