Scottish Crannog Centre

Trustee (Voluntary Post)

Application Deadline: Sunday 09th August 2020
Situated on the stunning banks of Loch Tay, the Scottish Crannog Centre offers visitors the most incredible museum experience. You are invited to walk in the footsteps of the original Crannog dwellers and experience what village life was like in times of yore, including a look inside a replica roundhouse.

Following 15 years of planning and a newly approved community asset transfer of land, the charity is about to embark on a multi-million pound relocation and expansion to create one of Scotland’s foremost visitor attractions. The plans offer significant socio-economic benefit for the area too so this is truly a dynamic, ambitious and transformative project.

To support the organisation through this developmental phase, the Board of Trustees wish to recruit a new Trustee with significant and senior finance expertise. This role would primarily suit someone who is semi or fully retired as there is an additional requirement to support the staff team to review finance systems and processes and make these fit for the future.

If you are passionate about Scotland’s history and heritage and would love to be instrumental in bringing these plans alive then please contact BTA for more information.

Closing Date: Sunday 9th August

Interview Dates: w/c 17th August 2020
