It does not matter how much money you spend on your visitor attraction website, unless you are on page one of Google you may not have a business!

SEO is all about driving customers to your business online based on data. SEO is evolving, from the way we search for information to the devices we use to access the internet, the online world is changing fast. This workshop is designed to get you up to date quickly.

How do you know there is demand online for your tourism business? Do you know how many ways your customers can find your business? Or perhaps how you might want to find them? Discovery is everything and this workshop will show you how to get to page one of Google allowing your customers to find you and make that booking.

Workshop Content
• Search engine optimisation (SEO) in plain English and easy to follow tips
• How your website may appear on mobile search results
• The major ranking factors for search engine optimisation
• The many myths associated with search engine optimisation
• Organic search versus pay per click (PPC)
• Google my business and Google Search Console

The session includes live demos featuring free online applications and tools. Delegates may bring their own devices to access the tools during the session. Some of the tools require you to have a Google account.

What do you need to bring?
Delegates can bring a device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) to access the tools discussed and discover how you and your competitors’ websites are ranked with Google. Please note that you require a Google account to access some of these tools.

Who should attend?
This workshop is aimed at Businesses owners and managers who want to improve their website’s search engine ranking and improve their chances of winning more business. It will benefit both those managing SEO internally as well as those working with external suppliers. Delegates should have a website that is live.

Costs and Further info
The delegate fee for ASVA members is £85 plus vat and is £150 plus vat for non-members.
Cancellation of attendance must be given in writing and received by ASVA via email at info@asva.co.uk at least 7 days prior to the event in order to be entitled to receive a refund. Non-attendance or cancellation of attendance given within 7 days of the event will be non-refundable.
