ASVA cards allow staff from member attractions to visit other sites for free. They are an educational tool to help staff:

  • Familiarise themselves with other attractions.
  • Recommend nearby attractions to visitors.
  • Learn best practices that can be implemented at their own sites.

Who can use ASVA cards?

ASVA cards are for individual use by staff members only. They cannot be used by accompanying adults or children.

Do I need to book in advance to use an ASVA card?

Some attractions may require advance booking or have restricted capacity during busy periods (e.g., Edinburgh Festival). Check the Attraction’s Directory on the ASVA website for specific guidelines before your visit.

Can I use ASVA cards for group visits?

If more than two staff members are visiting together, contact the attraction in advance to confirm this is acceptable.

Are ASVA cards valid for special events or additional activities?

No, ASVA cards are typically not valid for additional activities (e.g., pony trekking) or special events. Confirm with the attraction before your visit.
