How Covid-19 is changing visitor attraction marketing

Run By ASVA/ Digital Visitor

Broadcast On 13/08/2020

This webinar was delivered by ASVA trade members, Digital Visitor.

Marketing tourism organisations have followed a pretty similar model for a number of years, after all – if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it, right? It’s been about driving as many visitors as you can, using the same channels you have always used, with a particular focus on the key times like the summer holidays.

Well, I think we all can agree this year is broken! Many organisations may not be open until after the summer and even if they are it will be at hugely reduced capacity. The public will also be thinking differently about what they do, how they do it, and when they do it.

Visitor attractions and other tourism organisations are going to need to respond to this new era and whilst it will present many challenges, it also presents many opportunities to provide a real chance to change approach into a smarter more agile way of thinking.

This session from Digital Visitor looks at the landscape post-COVID-19 and provides actionable recommendations for your own marketing.
