Play Pays: How creating play projects can diversify your attraction and increase revenue

Originally held on 24th November, this webinar was run in conjunction with ASVA trade members, Timberplay Scotland. Delegates heard how premium play project can help diversify your attraction, increase dwell time, secondary spend and return visits. Timberplay Scotland are leaders in high-quality design-led play projects and have worked at a number of high profile sites across the UK and internationally. Some Scottish sites include Dumfries House, Helix Park, Falkirk Wheel and Bowhill House.
The team from Timberplay explained how high-quality play provision has the potential to engage visitors and become a destination in itself. Also speaking during the session was Mick Wilkes, General Manager of the National Trust’s Gibside property in North East England. Mick explained in detail how investment in play has increased visitor numbers threefold and helped diversify their customer demographic.
