Back by popular demand, ASVA is delighted to be hosting another Complete Storytelling training workshop at Apex House in Edinburgh on Thursday 22nd June. We have specifically chosen this location and date, as any delegates attending will have the opportunity to immediately follow on this hugely valuable training event, by joining the ASVA team and fellow ASVA members at our Summer Drinks Reception that very evening at Holyrood Distillery (for more details of the drinks reception, click here)  

The Complete Storytelling Workshop is being delivered by   tourism training specialists - Complete Works. During the one day workshop delegates will learn how to unlock the power of their own stories to enhance service delivery and boost bottom line results. During the course, the experienced trainers will break down any fears and boundaries that delegates have which prohibit truly effective communication; this is achieved through teaching and practicing practical methods in a safe, supported and inspiring environment. Using performance techniques, the experienced professional trainers hone participants’ skills in Body Language and Voice by teaching tried and tested tips and tricks used by actors and presenters.

Using the techniques that are trained through this workshop, the team at Complete Works have made a significant difference helping attractions across the country exceed challenging income targets. Specific examples include ASVA members the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, who experienced donations income increase by over 1000% in July 2021 when utilising the expertise of Complete Works, and the National Gallery in London who saw donations income increases of 300% to 400% over an extended period. The Complete Storytelling training is specifically designed to enable you and your teams to utilise customer service excellence techniques to deliver tangible benefits for your business.

When ASVA partnered with Complete Works to deliver Complete Storytelling in 2021 and 2022, feedback from those attending the workshops was outstanding. 97% of attendees advised that the workshop either fully matched or exceeded their expectations and almost 90% stated that the content could and would be used in their workplaces. We are grateful to Complete Works and Scottish Enterprise for supporting us in putting on this workshop. Thanks to the support provided by both organisations, we are able to offer places to ASVA for only £109 (plus vat). Non-ASVA members are also welcome to attend for a fee of £210 (plus vat).  

The full day training workshop will take place at Scottish Enterprise’s Apex House on Thursday 22nd June, commencing at 9:30am and finishing at 4pm. Refreshments and lunches will be provided for all delegates.
