MAIN PURPOSE:                     

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will support the catering team in food preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

MAIN DUTIES:

– Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
– Serve food and drinks to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
– Maintain cleanliness in food preparation and service areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
– Set up and clear tables, ensuring dining areas remain clean and organised.
– Assist with stock control, replenishing supplies, and monitoring inventory levels.
– Support the catering team with kitchen tasks, including basic food preparation.
– Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
– Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food safety and workplace hygiene.

REQUIREMENTS:

– Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service role (preferred but not essential). Full training will be given.
– Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
– Strong customer service and communication skills.
– Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
– Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
