Cleaner – Part-time | 25 hours

Salary: £21,452 (pro rata based on FTE of 37 hours) | £11.11 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week | Rolling four-week rota
Location: National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh, EH1 1JF

About the cleaner role:

At National Museums Scotland our cleaners are an essential part of our team. For us, every sweep of the brush is a step towards perfecting the customer experience. Our cleaners are relied upon to ensure customer facing and employee areas are clean and tidy and that our visitors experience the sense of pride we instil within the organisation and our staff.

As a cleaner at National Museums Scotland you will:

Work within a large team of cleaning colleagues in all areas of the building
Follow all training provided for safe use of Chemicals and Machinery
Carry out cleaning to required standards and frequencies
Communicate with colleagues using a hand held radio
Skills and experience we’re looking for in our cleaner:

Experience of cleaning in a commercial environment
Ability to engage with colleagues and visitors
Knowledge of Health & Safety including COSHH
Experience of working with a team
Good Communication
