Jobs

Performance Team Leader

Organisation: Edinburgh Dungeon

Salary: Competitive

Location: Edinburgh city

OI PEASANTS. YES, YOU.

THE EDINBURGH DUNGEON IS RECRUITING…

Fancy a starring role as a Performance Team Leader here at Edinburgh Dungeon, orchestrating outrageous behaviour, questionable decisions and a truly inhospitable atmosphere? Excellent. You sound unwell enough already.

Reporting to the Performance Manager, you’ll help lead the efficient operational and artistic running of the Performance Department, ensuring exceptionally high theatrical standards and delivering the uniquely horrible (yet unforgettable) experiences our guests have come to expect.

You’ll lead by example as part of our cast, supporting performers to bring our shows to life every day. From coaching performance techniques and character development to costume presentation, make-up and prop use, you’ll help maintain the high standards that keep our guests screaming for more.

You’ll also support the recruitment and audition process, help onboard and develop new performers, coordinate departmental meetings and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure every member of the cast is performing at their best. In the absence of the Performance Manager, you’ll act as a key point of contact for the department, helping to keep the show running smoothly both on and off stage.

This is a full-time permanent role, working any 5 days from 7, including a fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required.

Does this sound like it could be you? The cell doors are open and ready to welcome you…
