Retail Manager
Organisation: Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier
Salary: from £13.00/hour (DOE)
Location: Grandtully, Perthshire, PH9 0PL
The Retail Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the retail side of the Front of House leading a small team of Retail Assistants in Iain Burnett’s world-class Chocolatier. They set the example of the highest standard of customer service, product knowledge and brand standards. They train and support colleagues to maintain the brand standards and ensure that the duties and policies of the operations manual are carried out daily. They ensure accurate stock management and handling, display, hygiene records, and carry out administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will:
· Create and maintain positive colleague relationships with good humour and tact
· Teach, support and lead others with diligence and kindness
· Unify and galvanise the team when under pressure at busy times
· Thrive in a customer facing, team leadership role
· Be accurate with ordering stock and supplies as well as counting inventories and cash
· Be an ambassador of the Highland Chocolatier brand
· Be able to communicate proactively with colleagues and management
· Have excellent decorum with the public
· Be punctual and available to work full-time across weekends and weekdays
· Be accurate with maths calculations and money handling under all circumstances
· Possess an attitude of learning and willingness to respond to training and feedback
· Ensure full adherence to company policies and the operations manual
· Have an eye for aesthetics in merchandising and presentation
· Manage accurate ordering and stock rotation and storage of products
· Help the Retail Director develop the customer experience onsite
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in luxury retail and people management is desirable and a high standard of numeracy and literacy is essential.

HOURS AND WORKING DAYS: Candidates must be able to work weekdays, weekends and flexibly to cover holidays. Applicants must live within daily travelling distance of Grandtully.
