What we do? Buccleuch is a diverse and innovative business with a passion for sustainable land use in rural Britain. We are dedicated to supporting the communities we live and work within, providing approximately 500 local jobs, respecting the environment, and contributing to rural culture through our heritage for generations to come. At Bowhill House, visitors are spoiled for choice. They can enjoy a woodland walk, marvel at our beautiful gardens, explore the adventure playground, take a guided tour, and treat themselves to home baking and delicious lunches in the Old Kitchen Café or refreshments from The Horsebox.

The role? This is a seasonal role, supporting the Gardens team to maintain the stunning grounds and gardens surrounding Bowhill House. You will deliver a range of tasks that keep the gardens looking their best throughout the season, including grass cutting, weeding, trimming hedges, path and lawn maintenance, growing cut flowers and vegetables, and lower bed maintenance. Hours of work will be three days each week.

The person? A skilled gardener who has experience maintaining gardens to the highest standards would be preferred. However, if you do not have the experience yet but are keen and willing to learn, we would also love to hear from you.
