Jobs

November to December

What do we do? With 1,000 acres of history, walks, wellness, shopping, food and adventure, all in a beautiful setting just a few miles from Edinburgh, Dalkeith Country Park is enjoyed and valued by locals and visitors from afar. Whether in search of adventure, play, thrills, food, shopping or restoration, we have something for all.

The role? Working weekends in a lively, customer-focused environment over our busy festive period, you’ll help create a special shopping experience for our visitors. You’ll welcome and engage with customers, process till transactions, replenish stock, keep the retail area looking its best, and help with general day-to-day tasks in our gorgeous store… a treasure trove of fashion, kids’ toys, quirky gifts, food, drink, books and more! With flexible weekend hours, this is a great opportunity to earn some extra money while fitting work around your other commitments.

The person? With a passion for all things retail, you will be friendly, enthusiastic and bring plenty of energy and a positive attitude. While some customer-facing experience would be useful, it’s more important that you’re reliable, confident interacting with customers, happy to learn and willing to lend a hand in a busy environment. Applicants must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Why work for us? The Park is a beautiful place to work, with a store full of gorgeous products that are a pleasure to sell. We offer excellent benefits, including shopping discounts and wellbeing-related support and resources. Visit restorationyard.com for more information about what we do!
